I know that positive reputation marks show up as green icons on a user's profile, while negative reputation marks show up red icons. However, I've noticed that some users have grey icons, which I assume are from "neutral" reputation. However, I can only "approve" or "disapprove" of a post. How would I go about giving neutral reputation?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I believe neutral reputation is from those members that have zero reputation. Thus when they give reputation, whether it be bad or good, it shows up as neutral since they have no points to give or take away in the first place. There is no way for members who have rep points to give neutral reputation. At least this is my understanding of it. Hope it helps.

^^^^ That is exactly it...^^^^
You can only choose between Positive or Negative Reps to give..
If you have 40 Rep powers... and if you give a member Positive Reps...
his Rep Points will increase by 40 points...
But if you give a member Negative Reps... His Rep Points only drop by
20 Rep Points...

The reason why people have neutral rep power is because the had neutral/negative rep before we moved to the new forum. Any members who joined the forum after the move gets 10 points added automatically. You'll notice the members with neutral rep all have join dates before the move.

Yup, I was wondering why I had this gray color, while other people who just joined have green. I saw c0ld post something about rep and the forum update the other day, figured that was it.

It's green now tho.
