Great news. I know all these meetings must be running up a nice hefty bill for the forums. Hopefully it will all be squared away soon.

Have you thought of writing out protocols for the mods? eg: what to do in certain situations, stuff like that.

Jerry

If you continue with that anti-cereal attitude I'll have to create a group to gather an army against you, cereal hater!! :eg:

Have you thought of writing out protocols for the mods? eg: what to do in certain situations, stuff like that.

Because of the contracts and serious conditions on these forums there shouldn't be anyone made a mod here that doesn't already have significant moderating experience. Because of that any mods will know how to handle most forum issues that arise. And because there will be only a few mods they can talk to Avery directly about the more delicate and complex issues that no protocols can cover.

So yeah, protocols would be not so useful. Except maybe for the length of bans, if something is going to stick it is best to standardize it to prevent complaints about inconsistency.
