Diablo, hi I hear you and your points noted... I was wondering if you would do a review of the O-like gatlin.

I did a search and found no-one has, and you would be the first. Please and Thank you. jander6442

I have never done a review of anything other than seller reviews on E-bay, and I am afraid that it would just not do it any service.

Alot of great points here. One point I really liked is that sometimes search is like useing a dictionary to learn how to spell a word. It really somes up the point i was trying to make.

I am a big time computer nerd. I have over 6000 posts on www.hardforum.com. Almost everything I know about computers was learned from that very forum. I have gone from the noob asking the simple quistions to the experienced ones answering them. But even w/ all my knowledge I still have to ask quistions and even now some of them will be so simplistic that you just want to smack yourself for even asking them.

I guess I am just expressing my Noobish frustration, sometimes it really helps to just get it of your chest. Thanks to everyone for your opinions, time and patience.

Also realize that the answers were for the whole forum not just you. Your question comes to the mind of MANY of the new people on the forum.

Peace,

I almost agree on this. Although I almost always give the noob the answer he wants regardless of the other members pointing him to the search button, there are occasions in which the question is so damn easy to find that i just don't reply or reply him with the search button thing.

Occasionally I'll spend a good half an hour writing a novel for a new member, giving them most of the information they'll ever need, they briefly read over it and then you never here from them again.

The problem with taking time to write info for a new member is that most of the time they take what they need to build a "burning lazor" and just go without giving back anything to the community. I understand sometimes those new people do stay and give something back but the majority of the time this doesn't happen.

I really don't mind answering questions if I know a newer member has done some research though.

This is why I have the pre-scripted reply, It takes literally mere seconds to plop down that reply, if they use it, great, if not, oh well.

Although I have done a major regrouping of my mindset, some of the new members do hang around, some of them are quite young, I had to stop and realize I was once a young question asking man myself, and I remember annoying the hell out of people with my curiosity, so I decided to "lighten up" on some of the kids.

I even remember being a tad arrogant and cocky towards my elders, and getting knocked back down to my proper place.

I hope some of the other middle age vets read this, because if we keep on calling kids "snot nosed punks" they are going to just shut us out, and never learn anything from us.

I can live with that.
