for example, u should get email notifications about new private messages... and subscribed threads when someone makes a new post

tech_junkie in your settings are u sure its set to notify u? it was working on old site?

i think i figured out the problem.. some email providers blacklisted the IP i have (whoever previously had it must have had issues w/ spam). i will contact them and get this worked out , shouldn't be that tough

Lol, this is really bad luck... Hope you can solve it soon.

yeah unreal

i have reported to abuse dept. and my host will have it worked out

most email seems to be working but ppl with comcast might have problems

i contacted them about it though, and i am a customer too so they prob want help me out more lol

Comcast here too..they suck. Anyway I'm trying to reset the setting in the CP to see if that works. BRB

yeh also whoever previously had this IP address must have been an idiot and not secured their server lol

Hey c0ld, I received my notifications this morning (for me in Europe that is a few hours ago) and everything seems to be working fine :gj:
Only trouble is, though I've whitelisted everything to do with this site, some of the notifications (seemingly random) still end up in my junk folder. I seems as if Hotmail automatically files it as junk if I receive multiple e-mails with the same title and more or less the same message, even when I have requested them and checked all as "trusted sender".
