I vote yes. I would also like it if we could merge 405nm with 445nm, but it could lead to confusion to newer members.

Hell yes we need one. At least for the next few months. After we figure out all questions we have. The next few weeks and months is going to be insane with all the incoming data, questions and ideas.

After everything dies down it could then be moved to Blu-Ray & Violet Lasers thread.
Then that thread can become the Blue & Violet diode laser thread

I vote yes, these diodes basically appeared over night and there is ton of info to gather about them, post, and for everybody , to learn it.

We must have a seperate board.

Noobs are having hard time seperating bluray from 473nm (Kipkay, burn in Hell, will ya? Thanks!), let alone two blue ones now.

I think that new board is pretty much obligatory.

I´m waiting till the right optics are created.

I voted "YES", I really understand the hype although Flavor Flav once told me

I vote yes. I can see that there will be a huge wave of posting once we start getting the diodes, and, the fact that there lowest cost high power visible laser available, very likely we will start getting new people interested.

Yes. We should use another board for to post our experimentations and updates regarding the 445 nm diodes.

Good idea Dave...

So much more discussion, testing, group buys, etc...
