Could we have a "Member Collections" section?

I think a section where we can have threads sharing our laser collections would be good. If possible, members could be limited to a single thread in the section.

It'd be cool to have a place where we could have looks at the lasers we see in signatures without having to make a whole bunch of individual threads for each one.

Obviously, we've already got a thread. I just think it'd be nice to have a direct link in our signatures and a way to more easily look up members' collections.

I'd be in for it. Kinda like a place for a showcase of what laser(s) or laser-related items one owns.

I vote yes! :D

A whole thread for someone's collection would give them way more room to add information on individual lasers, which could prove to be invaluable to other members.

Yes, I would be in for that. It will be nice to see everyone's collections and you can just keep adding to your post. Also, it might help new members out by showing what is out there. Just create a new section caller "member collections" and create posts with your username in it.

I really like the idea. I'm not sure of the mechanics, but would it bump a thread up to the top of the forum if the OP updated their own first-comment collection display?

Actually this is a good idea. It's kind of surprising that there isn't one already. I would think it would have to be in alphabetical order with the persons avatar or something like that. Like when you go to your friends list. Or we could put mine first as a warning not to get into the hobby lol. Im like the cat lady of lasers:)

Alphabetical order in a table, would be cool. Maybe you should go last instead then :D Watch out for the mad laser man. The one with the hundred lasers. :)
