I've had the same name and same image avatar on many forums for many years.

It's now my online identity, especially since I have my own website: http://murudai.com :p

I'd only ever change it if I have too (like if I'm banned or something on a forums).

you can actually change your name? that seems like a bad idea. it should be restricted by the admin.

I changed mine because Coherent just seemed like a better name for a laser forum and I got tired of my old name. It's not like it's hard for people to see who you really are. At worst it confuses the forum noobs for a while.

That's an awesome name. My name IRL is kind of annoying. (Lucas) Every time someone asks what my name is and I tell them they say "what, could you repeat that?" Someone in my class is named Cheze, pronounced "shez". It's a freaking cool name. I use LRMNmeyer because it's nice to remain somewhat anonymous on the interwebz. "Somewhat" because it actually gives away my initials, where I live, (what state) and my full last name. It's some random thing I thought of before I made any accounts on the internet.

This thread only made it worse, before this, lots of people didn't know you change your name, now all sorts of changes are happening. ;D

lol, that's typical. ;D

Yeah, it is very easy to tell who people are when they change their "face" because of their records aka rep page. But can you imagine how LPF would be without Chuck Norris - Niko - saying "I like cereal"? ;D Well I guess he's the exception, because once he changes his avatar, he'll be round-house kicked (and probably killed) so he's locked in for life! ;D I didn't even notice his name change because that's how I refer to him anyway.
I've changed my avatar once before, but that was because I wanted to post a pic of myself "why hide behind a mask?" - Daguin ;D
And people still know you Razako, as Razako and that yin-yang avatar was hypnotizing (in a peaceful manner) and your new one is hypnotizing in a hypnotizing manner. ;D I noticed that you were gone for a while but your new name and avatar's posts had your style, so I realized that you changed them and didn't actually disappear.

Not to mention, there are HUNDREDS of registered members with only 1 post, obviously not a true LPF member. All those names are taken and can't be used. Isn't there some sort of clean up policy? ;D

Things, I don’t think that counts, like if I went from Ace82 to Ace wouldn’t necessarily count. And I don’t think Niko’s does either.

Jimmymcjimthejim... I'm not sure why I chose this name... When I was a little kid I was obsessed with the name "Jim", so I made this username and kind of stuck with it.. OK, enough storytime.
I changed my avatar once, I like the new one much better  :D
