I gave someone a -1 in a thread; they deserved it what they posted was immature, had nothing to do with the thread and was not helpful. I then get one back. Please make it so that if someone gives someone else a -1 then cant do the same out of spite.

sorry I was in a rush its 'revenge' not revence.

Those options aren't pure "Yes / No", how can I vote then?


The other member has the same right to neg rep you if he wants, even if it's not justified, you can PM c0ld to sort it out and he might remove the rep point from either you or him depending on who was wrongly neg repped.

I don't understand the poll.. what is "revence", what is "-ve"? In option three, what will be monitored?
Anyway, as to stopping a person who has neg repped you from giving you one back, just write to c0ld and show that the neg rep you received was unjustified.
Making it impossible to neg rep someone who has neg repped you will only open up for more potential abuse, IMO. Leave it as it is.
I don't see an option on the poll for that - the poll is biased.

monitored is when if I go give you a -ve for no reason you SHOULD then be able to -ve me...

OK I understand it now, thanks. I still think your poll is biased since you can only say "no" while also agreeing to support "an eye for an eye". I do not think revenge rep is OK, but I think it is better to simply report it and get it removed than to change the rep system and potentially having people in flame wars racing to give the others neg rep so they can't give them back, then getting c0ld to spend hours figuring out who gave justified neg rep and who didn't.

EDIT: I have just seen YOU yourself gave revenge rep to TJ, so I really don't think you have any grounds for whining about getting it yourself.
