Lol. I hit the back button 7 times by habit and was very surprised when pages flew by. :D
Thanks for fixing that, Ave. :thanks:

I still experience this problem with Safari... I hope this could be fixed as it is very annoying.

For those of you on a iDevice that are pretty much stuck with dealing with the broken back button behavior, here is a workaround that can make your life easier until either the site code is sorted out or Apple fixes this browser "bug".

Go into your settings applications and select Safari. You should see an option to disable Java script. Do so. You may have to kill off any current instance of Safari for it to take effect.

Now the back button should behave. If you need JavaScript remember to toggle that setting back on for other sites. This does have the unfortunate side effect of also disabling the ads at the bottom of the screen as well as the Google search box at the top.

I've only done some quick testing with this but it seems to work. If you run into any issues remember its very easy to turn JavaScript back on.

Edit: Looks like the "stats" box at the bottom of the main page breaks with this change. I also no longer see any tabs when looking at a user's profile, so this may not actually be a good fix, since I use that quite a bit to look at rep comments. :(

hey guys, if you are impacted by this problem, can you please try switching to the 'Default Style' layout (there is an option to select this at the bottom of the forum).

please report whether the problem is fixed in default style layout

Wow, Safari is actually pretty snappy using that layout. Back button problem solved too.

No problems with the default style for me. I can't believe I didn't think of trying that. LOL

I would be interested to see what others report. So I notice there are fewer ads at the bottom and the google search bar is missing in the default style. Hopefully this will help track it down.

Thank you for looking into this for us. Oh and merry Christmas, :san:
