I run dual Samsung SyncMasters at 1280x1024. Looking to upgrade soon to dual 1900x1200s. I just upgraded my system to a Core Duo Quad Core and 8 GB Ram with 2 GeForce 8800s so I really, really want to get the larger LCDs.

Pick one.
14 inch 1024x768 acer
24 inch 1920x1200 Dell
19 inch 1440x900 acer
You need some serious resolutions. 1280x1024 is not that big to be at the top of the list and I'm pretty sure you can cross off anything below 1024x768.

Yeah, I'm using 1024 because I have a 17 inch and 1024 makes it easier to read, though whenever I work on something that needs lots of windows and screen space I change to 1600x1200.I'm just spending all my money on other stuff instead of upgrading my monitor.Lol, 640x480?Maybe on people's phones now ;D

1680x1050 notebook. I'd actually prefer even bigger, as long as the dot pitch is small enough (<0.24). Most external TFTs have too large pixels for my taste.
