i would love to be a part of this but at 20-50$ i simply dont have the extra cash. like IE and chip said 15-25 sounds more reasonable. and most likely I and more could join

I agree. Around xmas time most people are hurting anyways from having to shell out all the extra money for family and friends.
That's probably why my new years resolution is always to not spend so much on christmas that year.

secret santa would be fun though, i wouldn't mind playing.
