Mace or Lightsaber for a host? READ FIRST

I see a lot of variance in builds around here, but it seems to be a pretty nice split. I just want to see what percentage of the forum likes "Head Heavy" Maglight style laser hosts and what percentage prefers the "Equal Distribution" or "Constant Diameter" style laser hosts..... consider these:

I tried to find relatively good looking options for both, but whether it does or not it conveys the general idea behind the two options:

OPTION 1: "Mace of Death"/"Thor's Laser"/"Windu's Mace"



OPTION 2: "The Tube"/"The Lightsaber"/"The D***o"

Yea, I love the slim hosts, the core is a great laser too.

However, for anything of high power, I prefer hosts such as these:



Plain and simple and get the job done

IMO lasers in flashlight hosts are just accidents waiting to happen.

Sure, if you custom design and make one to hold them

That would be interesting....custom design a sleek host that is long enough to fit a number of batteries. It would be bigger than typical lasers, but not so flashlighty as a maglite.
