Maybe it's time for c0ld to make a statement about this whole thing. It's ultimately his decision.

I can almost guarantee you that MANY people will be less willing to use these forums if we can't even police ourselves. It's incredible to me that so many people can't seem to find the guts to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, even in the face of HEAPS of irrefutable evidence. Not just a little... HEAPS AND PILES of evidence. Who would want to be a part of a community that endorses shady, dishonest behavior?

Stop picking on me guys, I've got Dark telling me I "pulled a 180 on him" and you guys all telling me I'm a bad person for staying neutral...

I'm no good with this kind of thing, if he really did scam all these people that are being claimed then ok I stick with my vote yes, if he has not then I regret pressing yes.

And don't give me stick about me needing to be scammed to understand what it feels like I've lost a fair amount via scammers but that's a different issue.

I've got a headache now and can't think so I'm gonna leave it now, don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't reply any more.

We're not trying to pick on you. I just can't understand why you ask this^..

The evidence has been presented multiple times. This has been proven beyond all doubt. How is this still a question? Only someone who has not reviewed the evidence would still have this question.

Dark has seen all the threads about the problems with the "S03" (I call if F03 now) sleds that we bought in the GB. Then he tells me he's built 20 lasers with that same diode, and that they all put out over 300mW, and some even 400mW. Yet he never posted anything in the "S03" problem threads, and no one has reviewed any of those lasers. Most everyone who hasn't killed theirs by trying to get 250mW or more, have been setting them at or lower than GGW's, but he claims he ran all 20 of those diodes at 280-300mA.

Then there was the earlier case where Dark was sent a GGW and flexdrive by mistake. He said he didn't realize that it wasn't his and he sold it. He said that he thought he bought it off B/S/T, but you'd think his business would be a little more organized and he'd know who he's getting packages from and why. When we finally figured out the mix up, he had already sold it. I was compensated right away from a respectable member. He then took over a month to replace the parts, instead of paying the respectable member for the parts. I'm sure he made a killing on that already assembled GGW module.

Then I also get a PM from a member who said that his laser from Tyler failed very quickly, and that he got the run around from him about it. And then offering a trade, and then once he agreed, he changed the terms again.

I was gonna link that quote about the HeNe and true 473nm builds also, but lasersbee got it already.

Also, the quote in ElektroFreak's sig "90% of them time you get another free 8x..." If he only did it once, how does he come up with a number like 90%? sounds like he did it a few times to me, considering that Arenared got three 8x's from him...

I haven't been around here for long, and I agree with Nikokapo and others regarding how much of this seems to go on so often. I guess a veteran as such would have to miss the days when there wasn't so much fighting and banning. I do note each time I login and use the new posts search, that this type of thread is always right at the top, with numerous views and frequent posts. I too wonder how much negative and non-productive (non-laser related) time is wasted here. I imagine noobs find themselves reading these posts for the drama, because they seem to be the most popular threads.

That being stated, I hate to see this stuff happening among friends or collegues (popular with each other or not).

Now, having read all this evidence, I note 2 primary factors:
Whether drugs or alcohol are an issue here is really Tyler's problem, and if so, he needs to reboot and get a fresh view of himself and how he interacts in settings such as this. Especially when your reputation, a business (however profitable or not), and other people's money and respect for you are affected.

and how the hell did he expect dave not to realize about it? I just can't understand. Not even the most stupid scammer would do something like this...

He claims he did not know how to use his Laserbee I.. so either he is full of shit and has lied about the power of all lasers he has sold, or otherwise he has metered all sold lasers wrongly. When the ones he sold Dave were as wrong as being around 4mW when he said they could be pressed to 20mW, it doesn't look good for others - he might have been sending out 80mW PHR builds and claiming they are 400mW 8x builds xD
