I do know some history around 1950 Isreal was created and apparently many Palestine homes were stolen and they where forced to live in refugee camps. And Israel did invade Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. They have since then kept the Palestine people under military occupation. But of course there are different facts and opinions everywhere you go.

and no hard feelings, and I dont really care about rep. I just wanted you to know I dont hate jews

i actually had to do a persuasive speech not to long ago one of our choices for the topic was Israel and its right to exist. i honestly dont know how you can blame israel.... one of the parts of my speech was listing a few terror attacks on isreal. the list was over 8 pages long it made me cry. one that stuck out to me was a antisemitic Muslim killed a rabbi and his wife and IIRC five our four out of 6 of his kids whie they were sleeping. the kids IIRC were all under 10 years old. just because they were jewish the rabbi was a rabbi for fooks sake, not a soldier or government employ a man that dedicated his life to his religion, preached peace and prayed for it on a daily basis.

also visited Israel a few years ago at that point dozens of rockets a day were being fired into the north. when my grandmother went there 10+ years ago. they immediately turned around the plane because of how dangerous it was because of the bombs being fired at innocent people.

Israel tried many peace treaties given away land etc. who broke the numerous peace treaties not Israel.

This is up for debate. Initially the israeli settlers didn't force anyone out. With time, and in response to attacks, yes I'm sure some palestinian homes were stolen.

Hmm, Egypt yes. As part of a coalition with France and Britain.

When did Israel attach Jordan and Syria though? You mean the Six Day War? Care to look back and see who initiated the conflict and what happened? Israel repelled the attack and in doing so occupied land. It's interesting, when US or Britain win a war, to the victor go the spoils. Israel defends itself, and occupies territories to create a buffer, and all of a sudden it's stealing. Seems like a double standard to me.

Not entirely true historically, but at present it is. How else are they supposed to react to being attacked?

That there are. Which is why it's important to stay objective, and to check your facts. Propaganda is easy. The truth is hard.

I'm glad you don't have jews are and willing to keep an open mind.

Hate for individuals is right and proper. Hate for countries, nationalities, and cultures... it's just foolish.

I dont agree with the people responsible for the terror attacks on Israel or Israel. There are hundreds of stories of how the soldiers treat the Palestinian people, and its the main point of the debate. If they just let them walk freely and there was no military oppression, obviously some people would have grudges, but most people would tell them to suck it up. Of course the reason Israel has to do this is because of the attacks. You cant stop someone with a idea, and that isn't afraid to die. So no one is 100% right, If they stop mistreating them, I will let it go. Politics I dont care about, but oppression I Do.

Yep hate is very foolish, I dont hate anybody. And everyones opinions including mine are clouded especially if they are Jewish or Arab (me). So here's this to opinion and freedom :beer:

so if they stopped mistreating them like you claim they do. are you saying hamas would stop killing innocent people and committing acts of terror so frequently? because that is absurd.

btw im not racist i have a friend from Jordan(we dont talk about the situation though :p)

No I don't think Hamas will stop. I don't like them any better anyway, they are a violent terrorist group. I don't agree with Hamas's veiws or Israels. I just wish both would stop fighting and no more people would get killed. But as I said a person with a idea and that's not afraid to die is more deadly than any other weapon. ;)
