Would anyone be interested in making a wiki with me?

Why not make the wiki part of this site with an auth-bridge to the forum? That way only forum members can edit the wiki and share one login.

I was thinking about creating a "laser wiki " for defining terms and the like, would anyone be interested in posting content if i ended up making it? sidenote ill put ads on it and if they make enough i could make it an entire website with a domain.

Umm I think Sam's laser FAQ is adequate... But a more simplified version would be best for people that are new to the hobby I suppose

It's true that Sam's laser FAQ isn't really user friendly. At least I don't find it that way (I mean it's not really easy to use). Maybe you could focus more on that :)

I think a good wiki needs to have a good balance between text & images to satisfy people who are visual learners with other who may learn best by reading. That's one of the reasons I added colors to the "Color" part of the wiki ;)

I'll see if I can make any other edits today!

I used to run laserswiki.com, but I couldn't keep up with the administrative duties that came with running a wiki.

I copied all the data, every driver (even legacy drivers) was fully documented, and about 50% of the diodes (legacy ones proved to be difficult to find data for)

I can make a bot to add these pages to a new wiki if anyone establishes one.

What format is it in?
