I decided to make this thread because of the one biggest thing that intruiges me , besides laser, is women.

Women are welcomed to comment or solve some of the mysteries...

Here are some of the things I have noticed and yet they perplex me as a man:

1. Although they play to be weak and in need of men for support, they are very strong willed.
2. If needed they will be the first to try something new.
3. They also have an air of confusion to them when questioned directly about #1.
4. Thier instincts are more based on emotion and not waiting on facts or resolute findings.
5. Because of their strong will and emotion they can do things us men cannot do.

I think I have laid the plane for enough thought on the matter , I would like to get both sides of the "story", if you're interesed in commenting please do so!!!!

Understanding women is something almost impossible :D
NASA will probably find another planet that we can stay
before we even start understanding women ;)

Many human behaviors are gender neutral.

For others conditioning (in all it's many annoyingly overlapping forms) can account for many discrepancies between the actions of men and women.

Ultimately though, there are physical differences, and that's where there is a disconnect in our understanding comes from.

Imo, trying to understand women is sort of like trying to picture a six dimensional object.... both leave me with a headache and frustrated, more often then not:p

My easy defination to understanding women,

Take a man, and remove ALL sense of reason, and ALL accountability,
And there you have it, a woman.

Fairly easy when you know. LOL

A friend once told me "never try to think as a woman or figure out her mind because u will always fail".

Saying that i would say women arent mean to be understood... but just to enjoy their company!

Fine then. I will chime in with an old one...

Statistics prove that, on average, women outlive men. Put another way, this is to say that a man will usually die before his wife does. This is a regularly occurring event that is accepted as "normal".
Then the question was put forward, "Why do men die first ?"
The answer is "Because they want to."
:D

I have posted my knowledge concerning women in other posts.
I have learned that there is no real difference in the understanding of the opposite sex. They are different and that is all there is to it.
They have traits and methods that are the result of evolutionary progression. They were successful as providers and were able to propregate the species because of charateristics
that proved to be worthwhile. These characteristics are therefore passed on to subsequent generations.
Because our ancestors required men to be the hunters and women to be the gatherers the two genders developed the needed characteristics for their roles in separation from the other. These evolutionary traits are still hardwired into our very forms now as those who developed differently in the past didn't survive to pass on the genes for change.
(Note that in modern times that this doesn't apply and the number of people who perform roles that used to be gender specific are increasing because the genetics of a changing mind can be passed on today.)
So women think and behave differently because that is what makes them women. If they didn't then they wouldn't be.
By the same token, men are men because that is what we are. To try to take anything away or to try to deny what we are would be to try to pretend we are not what has been proven by evolution to be successful. We are men.
Acceptance of both is the key to happiness. I don't always understand the wife but I know that I shouldn't. So I accept that she is different, has a different way of understanding and an opinion of her own, and that is part of what makes her so interesting to have around. She helps to keep things from being too boring.(Whether I like it or not !) Sometimes you have to agree to disagree about some things. This is what makes the difference between a successful relationship and an unsuccessful one too.
There is an old saying that you shouldn't go to bed angry/mad. If you can accept that someone else has their own understanding and therefore opinion on the something as you do then you can usually discuss it and come to an agreement. Acceptance prevents the need to fight or argue about it. You will find that you can simply discuss things and perhaps even open your mind to learn new and different perspectives that would never occur to you otherwise.
At least, that is my thinking about it.

And no, she didn't tell me to say that either. :p

Did I remember to mention that this type of open minded thoughtfulness can be very attractive to women. You can make them feel comfortable and glad to be in your company with this sort of thinking. (It took me 25+ years to figure it out for myself.)
