Virginia laser meet 2 June 7th

OK well technically its #3 but the first one failed so. Laser meet 2 it is.
This is just a preliminary interest thread like last time. No date at the moment.
I'm thinking about having it at the end of May.

Anyone who is interested please let me know what a good date is for you.
It going to have to be between may 24 and June 7 at the latest.

I'll be storm chasing until May 30 at least. May be in Richmond for a couple days in really early June though.

Cool. Did you ever get those hosts apart. if not we may be able to try again.
I made a press-tool to remove a 5.6mm diode.
I also made one for LPC diodes since the base on those open can diodes are wider than the can on a closed can diode.
I also successfully removed an LPC diode from a buggered up aixiz module and inserted it into a new one.

Hi all,

I may be down for coming down... Just need to keep an eye on the date. I've got quite a bit of travel for work in the coming months, but if it happens on a good day at a decent time, should be fine!

OK guys Its exam week for me so I wont be on too much. But thought I would get this out early. we need to finalize a date. post weekends that are good for you so we can see if one matches all our schedules.
also PM all the Virginia member y'all can find. i want this meet to be bigger than last one.

Shit this is 5 hours away for me. I'd love to go to a meet but idk if I'm willing to drive that far. If there are a lot of people going and I don't have anything to do that weekend I might decide to make the trip.

UPDATE with idea and date.
OK so Its going to be either may 31 or June 7th. depending on weather and which date is best for y'all.
But I have an idea> We pull this into a 2 day event starting on Friday. This way we can go to the local scrapyard where i get all my electronic junk from. then we camp out in my backyard that night and have the main. event Saturday.
This is just an idea and is not a definite but I thought i would through it out there.

I would be down for either date depending on weather. You can pretty much count me in for whatever.. although I'll have the lamest collection there by far lol I'm very excited about it.

Th ing have come up and I'd prefer the 7th as I may not be able to make it the 31st. But whatever date Is set I'll be there I'm sure l. Going to philly the 27-30th so I'll have to leave for rva right after I get home but whatever date is best for the majority if s fine

As much as I don't want to wait until the 7th

I think that is actually the better date. Especially since trevor will be storm chasing until May 30.
