That's a pretty eerie video, Andrew!
You almost expect to see people moving about on the ship while watching that video.
It still amazes me at how fast that the Titanic sank after hitting that iceberg, less than 3hrs.

@Red, IIRC, that ship was the Carpathia.

I know this is dangerous, but I remember feeling so alive, someday I will drive on the Nurburgring track in Germany, until then I have become too worried about hurting anyone or being in the mix when someone eats it.....Still I remember....sigh
And yes, if those are liter bikes then they are not very good riders.

Sure was eerie..and yup I could picture people kinda, especialy when they tried to drop one of the life boats.
I remember when the first pic's came out in what I believe was around 1986?
It was so exciting to see the ghostly images and what 80 years of time did to it.
I also hate using the word exciting:( as all who died suffered so much whether from freezing or being eaten by sharks.. but ship wrecks though have a mystery to them??
The few pic's that showed all that remained of a man was his shoe's and they were resting on the floor just like the position he was in when he perished was one of the eeriest:can: Then all the porcilan vases and dinner ware.
Are they salvaging anything that we know off?

I was thinking about starting a thread for multi diode builds but I will wait until I build my monster, here's one from the past, 3 x 7875's and I wish these diodes had gotten cheap so I could do something really fun, but they are out of production and getting popular as they are 3 watts of plug and play with a decent beam as is.

This is one of mine, maybe post any multis you have? I think multiple beams are beautiful, there's something special about them.

I recently bought one just to have. I don't plan to use it, but may need it someday to replace the one I have in the MS-SSW-II host. I certainly won't be throwing it away for an LEDed diode.

I know DTR took them off his menu but now he has a limited supply for sale, with DTR you know you are getting new diodes but on ebay you may be getting pulls from a machine with thousands of hours on it, the problem is they are no longer in production and with a 3 element they make a beam that you have to use cylindrical correction on a 44 diode to see the same beam profile.

I think it's worth correcting the 44 diodes but for an easy compact build the 7875 is the top of the gen 1 divergence diodes, the 7A75 has the Gen 2 divergence and the 44 Gen 3 divergence, now the GBall diodes such as the 05/06/07 has Gen 2 divergence but removing the can to get it destroys it in short order, the 08 has gen 3 divergence, but again pulling the can is very bad for it as oxygen breaks down right at the beams exit and damages/erodes the coating on the emitter.

I have several and they are nice diodes, people should get them while they are available, with a 2.4 amp driver and a pair of 16340 cells they make a nice compact 2.5 - 3.0 watt laser.

Here's one of mine.

Of course our only link to reality is through our senses. We can have instrumentation to measure parts of reality, but our own personal view is through our senses. For that reason, we can never have a total picture of the reality that exists around us. But, that isn't a terrible thing. Our senses have served us pretty well for millennia.

Obvious question, but have you tried with another PC running explorer ,,,actually I can tell you mine is working right now, sometimes updates corrupt default settings, you can clear your cache and restart but doing a restore to when it was working a day or two ago will likely fix it.

Someone more tech savvy could likely give you a better way to diagnose but I can't remember what I went into to fix mine when my video boxes were black, a quick google search often has the answer as well but a restore point should fix it if more than one thing has been corrupted.

Good luck.

Who ways that black guy from the 1980s that did all the sound effects with his voice? This is just more of the same. In fact, the black guy was better at it, but he's nowhere to be found today.
