update- not as bad as they predicted- and thats good.

*****************
- the next 24 hrs or so will be a bad time for some.
We have so many members inside the weather map today- predictions of hail as big as baseballs- tornados very likely

Too many to name- but I instantly thought of LPF brother JamesCranmer- in fact, it was the reason i reached out to him long ago- asking if he had a weather alert radio- to use at home & while working for Brown (ups iirc)-

In the center of todays weather map of areas likley to be affected I saw St L. where LPF brothers , DTR- MOH & EF all live.
Also in the map was brother & Mod Rob B. - and who knows how many more- the storm area covered several states

I think I can speak for many saying we wil be doing all we can spritually- w/ prayers- good thoughts-

we await to hear from all so we will know-

post in this thread or start one-

and we will be here to help you after this in the unfortunate case that any of LPF is in need of us.

James- use that radio- be sure it has a good a battery.

I don't think I will see much besides maybe some heavy rain, thankfully. I hope all those in the storms path stay safe.

Other than a low end tornado currently on the ground in south central Kansas, there was one report of a brief tornado in Washington, MO. So far so good... most of what's happened is wind and hail.

That said, the 4km resolution NAM and the HRRR show activity in the KC area in the coming hours.

Fortunately for everyone involved, this wasn't destined to be a huge outbreak day.

good to hear the storm may be not as bad- call it a dry run- those weather alert radios can make the diff between life and death.. get one and use it..

TY for posting with these updates---len

Nothing too crazy yet. Just heavy rain and a lot of lightning.
