These are the best pics I managed to get.  I think in pic No. 2 & 3 I managed to snap a Satelite, not 100% sure but it is the same colour as the Moon and it appears to be reflecting as it spins ??  What do you guys think ??

NOTE: The Moon was darker and reder(is this even a word ??) than in the pics, but thats the best I could do.

I was going to fire the Hercules at it but the air traffic was unbelievable !!!  Aircraft everywhere !!  I'm sure they were up there just to check out the Moon.  My wife reckons she saw something "fall off the Moon" !!  But I don't know, I didn't see it.  Must have been the WINE !!!

i'm sure they wouldn't have mind if you burnt a crater in the moon ;D ;D ;D nearly no airtraffic here last night!although i could here people in the neighborhood were looking at it. i had my camera out there, so just to ster them up, i turned on the flash, and pointed it at the trees in the back, i heard a kid say"i just saw lightning" ;D ;D ;D

thanks! ya i agree, nice pics morepower, my stupid camera sucks at night shots, but you said your moon was very bright, so that might of helped a bit?

Thanks guys, it's just a shame I couldn't get the colour quite right. Oh well you get that !! I used the Manual settings but unfortunately I didn't really know what the hell I was doing, it was a good learning experience though. It's just a fluke that they came out as well as they did.

The Moon was really bright and kind of yellowish when it first came up but it was about normal brightness just before the Eclipse started.

ok! our moon was covered in cloud untill the eclipse was full :( but it totally cleared up after that!

Shine your lasers at the moon -- We, the USA, abandoned that real estate over 30 years ago. It's up for grabs :eek:

Yeah pics of the Moon always do, especially because of all the black background, and it's exactly what I have as my background. I really wish I had of taken some pics of the Hercules aimed at the Moon now !!!
