Lol i was thinking the same thing on your level. Meaning I realize everyone has thought of that scenario but what to leave. Bringing an I phone that rely on a satelite is way to advanced, so I thought of bringing a simple 1981 Chevy Chevette. It has a motor not at all super advanced but enough to show an internal combustion engine with over head valves, hydraulic disc brakes, and a very very simple computer system that I have heard was 1 million times more powerful than the Apollo 11. I would also make it that it had a full tank of todays lead free higher octane gas. Maby this would be the medium to advance and learn from. Im wondering what other members would bring back to the 1800,s

I'd bring a 1.4W 520nm laser in the craziest host I could, just to scare the shit out of them XD

No, I would probably warn them of the future wars and politics and such, and to build better relations with other countries. Tell them how messed up the world is today and how they have to start fixing it before it even happens. Spread the message of peace, and they might have actually listened to it back then.

The UFO community is full of truth and lies, disinformation being part of the lies. Sometimes things are quoted which were never said that are hoped to be believed and later found were lies, when that happens people often throw out the baby with the bathwater on the whole subject. While I believe there are groups within government which try to hide and disinform, there are kooks and Charlatan's out there doing a good job of it all on their lonesome. I also believe there are other groups who have the job of soft disclosure, slowly leaking information so when a level of disclosure comes, it isn't too shocking. At some point, all of humanity will come to understand we have been involved with some ET groups and helped to produce our own antigravitic craft and have traveled to the stars ourselves. All of this seems science fiction and unbelievable, but I have no doubts, not after watching and looking into this subject for several years. However, I'm not part of the UFO community, don't go to conferences, don't communicate with the players in the community, just an observer.

I thought this was an interesting YouTube video, how much of it is based on reality, I don't know.

I had to come back and edit in this URL, worth a look if you want to research what is being said about the rumored secret space program and break away civilization: http://www.markmccandlish.com

The UFO community is full of truth and lies, disinformation being part of the lies.

There's a video titled "The Mirage Men" about Richard Doty; "a former counterintelligence officer with the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), who claims to have spent decades deliberately spreading disinformation about extraterrestrials". I paid to watch the video some time back and found this Trailer on YouTube.

Then I find an article written by Richard Doty on this website claiming all sorts of UFO encounters.

That's the thing about counterintelligence, it can go counter-, counter-counter-, counter-counter-counter-, etc. ad infinitum to the point of ad nauseum.

Enjoyed the video nonetheless.
