someone (WL?) really hates laserchat!

something really odd happened in my chatroom, laser chat, last night. for those of you who weren't there, i'm gonna be pasting a log of it here (some lines cut for more briefness, and one swearword censored with [tt]***[/tt] - the word rhymes with "micky", for anyone who can't guess ). anyway, this guy joined laser chat last night, seemed genuine enough, asking about WL products and being told our (low) opinions of them, then started acting real weird and disruptive. what i'm wondering is... random idiot? random troll? or WL employee? decide for yourselves, i guess apparently, the guys IP address should be located in Horseheads, New York, but narrowing an IP address's geographical location to such a small area isn't *always* completely accurate - pretty much definitely someone in new york, or someone using a proxy located there, though. lines where this guy talks have his name in green, to make it easier to see, and my comments mid-log are light blue italic.

so yeah. weird, huh? what's everyone think? i'd be *very* amused if wicked lasers started thinking of my chatroom as a threat...hehe

first time anything exactly like that has happened. there've been the occasional random idiots, coming in and swearing randomly or asking for cybersex, and proctor came in and acted incredibly obnoxiously once (got himself banned in like 10-20 minutes), but what was weird about this is the guy obviously knew at least a bit about lasers, also seemed to know IRC (the particular type of chatroom laser chat is), tried (badly) to see if he could gain admin privilege (i assume he wanted to try take over the room), then started mouthing off. bizarre, really. oh well, whoever it is, it gets them nowhere - security is great for the chatroom and the only result of stuff like that is idiot gets booted off then laughed at. if it was WL, thanks WL, for the free entertainment!

I'd say it was just some jackass. Wicked Lasers would never do anything like this... it just does not make any sense.

Looks like a typical dumb ass who is probably pretty young and gets a kick out of being a total f*** up.

Seen loads of these on different forums...

Oh btw, I can't seem to enter laser chat, I always get this message

You think people would be more mature, but that seems like more then just some WL fan boy to me.
