Parts of the "FBI" letter aren't correct in the way some words are used. and where is the position and persons name who signed the letter. It seems like a foreigner created that letter. You should forward all the stuff you sent us to the real fbi

Thanx for all the reassuring comments Phoenix77, Rkcstr, John Lawson, and the rest!

I sent them one last email last night cussing them out and telling them never to email me again or I will report them. I am gonna report them anyway, even if there isn't a chance they will be stopped. Hopefully they're not laser hobbyists! ::)

I know enough that any communications that contain the word "Nigeria" or
"Russia" gets immediately flushed into the crapper...

WTF????

Are you reporting any of this to paypal? That is all clearly bogus, lol @ the FBI threat, I must say, thats some pretty original work :)

ROFL..."to get you arrested" Seems they called in the smart one to write that...

maybe even report them to the FBI for that....pretty sure that is illegal......

you gotta remember people do this for a living. i'm unsure what country they originate from but it matters nothing to them what you do, because they probably can't be tracked. they just live for the few people that end up wiring them back money somehow.
its funny how 90% of web scams like this involve nigeria of all countries...

I get tons of e-mails like this every day. Fake ebay e-mails, fake paypal e-mails. E-mails that say i get some sort of nigerian government surplu-s (why is "surpl*us" a censored word?? It just turns it into 'spammer'. weird... watch: "surplus") money.

Dont worry about it dude. You can either just ignore it all, or report it. But just know that if you report it, it's just a waste of time. Nothing's going to happen.

Reporting it identifies you as a live target. I don't respond to anything wierd anymore. They sell your address to several spammers.

I wouldn't bother reporting it... nothing's going to be done because I'm sure whomever you send it to gets 1000s of reports everyday.
