It's coming together , of course the instructions are in Xi Jinping's finest English, and make zero sense.
It jumped from main frame construction to wiring?! , I was like, I ain't even installed half the steppers yet...how the hell am I supposed to wire something that isn't there! .

So I followed as best I could, the rest I've figured out from photos on the net.

I've broken off for the night now...carry on after work tomorrow

Good luck on that 3D printer, ped. I feel your angst. I wouldn't want to be putting it together with nothing but a manual in Chinglish to guide me. :D

Not a prob

Anyways...done! The up and down (dunno which axis that is :D) is really stiff and stalls the steppers so going to look into that when I get home from work, but the wiring is all done and correct and it all moves fine apart from the up and down.

Looking good Ped! If you plan to print abs you should look into a box for it. I used an Ikea Stuva box with glass door, I think the latter was from the Besta range. If you're interested, let me know and Ill hunt out some links for you.:)

Edit: Its possible the Z axis rods need better alignment. If they are not perfectly parallel it will cause problems.

Nice assembly of your new toy....
Yeah the Up/Down 'Z' axis screws could probably be
jamming in the end holder bearings or the 'X' axis sled
bearings.
The 'Z' Axis rods need to be very straight (no bends
at all in them).
