Hmmm.
1) He says it is the bed leveling..
2) You say it's not the bed leveling but the extruder..
3) He shows you a bed leveling Video that you've already seen
4) You ask the LPF members to +Rep him because he's helpful.

Am I missing something.... or is this the Twilight Zone..:thinking:

Damn. That has got to be frustrating, ped. I'm hoping you get it worked out soon. I have never done any 3D printing, so I won't try to offer any help. I'm sure you know more than I about it. Good luck, buddy.

That doesn't look like it came in kit form. Did you have to put this together?

Nope, it came pre built. Going to get some frog tape for the bed today and test it.

I will. Did a small test print last night and it seemed ok, but the model started slipping, I'm waiting for the correct tape to line the heated bed with. Masking tape just peeled away.

Does anyone use Cura? will Cura automatically know the print area size, and scale 3d prints automatically? if not, can I get it to do this?
Also, is there a way to shrink prints in Cura so I can save to SD and print directly?

I have used Cura, but only with compatible Ultimaker machines. I've never had to adjust bed dimensions unfortunately and wouldn't know if it would automatically detect them. Unless the printer is sending information back to the computer it would be unlikely that the software would be wise to know the machine its printing on.
But I did just do some research for you and found this.
https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/52029-manage-printers

Go down to the 'Add a custom printer' section. It will take some time getting it calibrated, but once done you should be set to go. :)

Superb thank you.

Do you know if you can resize a model in Cura?
