'96 probe and a '97 corvette.

I also do a decent 60-100 miles per week on a bicycle, but that's more often for recreation than transportation.

That Vette would be a 350ci? I would assume because I'm not sure they put the LS engines in that year? Not sure though. Either way you gotta love the V8 power. :)
2007 Charger RT with the AWD package.
Those 5.7 Hemi's sound so damn good witH exhaust. You should sit on the side of the Highway under an overpass and stick a Blow dryer out the window and watch people lock the brakes up

Currently running straight pipes after the cats on it. With the windows up it's actually pretty mellow inside the car unless you're really getting on the gas. Can still talk to people and listen to music just fine. Stomping on the pedal will definitely turn some heads though:eg: Sounds like rolling thunder in enclosed parking garages and tunnels.

I have a neighbor in Anchorage who doesn't own a car or truck, rides his bicycle everywhere he goes, he lost his drivers license for driving while intoxicated. One day I saw him wipe out on his bike in the front yard, intoxicated!

I've got a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with only 32,000 original miles on it. It has tinted windows, climate control, anti-lock brakes, tire pressure remote sensors and several other great options. Electric windows and door locks, electric seat positioning, and a very nice surround sound system. It's silver outside and bone inside.

Oh man! I know what you mean, I like driving under parking garages, I do it all the time at this mall around my city and it sounds like A monster! Lol

Well since I haven't said anything and everyone is probably wondering.
I drive a 2012 mustang GT 5.0
The only thing I have done to it is MBRP Race series Catback exhaust. Unfortunately I'm on my phone and I have a hell of a time adding a link but I have my exhaust and car on my YouTube channel.

I'll try and add link later :(

I used to have a 1990 FOX body 5.0, but you have the coyote 5.0, very nice.
I know they are OHC w/4 valves but is that the year they used the flat plane crankshaft or did that not start until the 5.2 coyote, still a rev happy 400+ ponies and you did the cat back, what's next ? 411 ring and pinion? Maybe a little forced induction?

Paxtons and Vortec centrifugals were all the rage when I had mine, yes it's been a decade, but turbos have taken over now and from what I have seen they do well, question is can you behave yourself and keep your DL LOL I couldn't behave and sold my VFR years ago, I spun a rod bearing in the stang and took it to auction swimming in 50 weight :eg:

But now there's cameras all up and down the interstate, granted we used to go to the mountains to play, but it's hard to behave everyday, very hard :/

Personally, I rotate vehicles occasionally with my family since I'm a young college student spending more money on tuition, and there's a vehicular excess due to an obsession that runs in the family. Because of this I don't really own a car yet. Definitely can't escape car use in my neck of the woods though.

My "personal" vehicle is a 1997 Toyota truck. The thing has held up through a lot and still looks great. Really like Toyota, but I'm not all that interested in newer offerings.

We used to be VW fans, but we had a TDI, and I'm sure you know how that turned out.

As far as smaller cars go, Subaru makes some of my favorites since I like AWD in this area.

With the truck debate, I like Chevy/GM, but I'm not as opinionated on the matter as some friends.

Probably going to be faced with getting something smaller and much more efficient for myself soon, but decisions are very hard to make in that category.

Yeah you're right, they only put the Flat plane in the 5.2 GT350 and 350R. I would love it if they put them in the regular coyote stang :( but it's funny you mention that because I did think about Forced induction, like a Kenne bell but I didn't have 6 grand to spend. I actually thought about at one point selling my car and getting a 2008 Roush 427r since they're stock supercharged but I couldn't find one with less than 50,000 miles. I was afraid someone drove the hell out of it. Lol

You're not kidding man, these turbo cars these days are quick!.
And no I actually got busted racing with a group in downtown Oklahoma City, got in some trouble so I toned it down a little.

Funny thing about what you said is that you liked Toyota, they make some really reliable and nice vehicles, my whole family sold all their American cars for toyotas, my brother sold his Malibu for a corolla, my dads sold his Ram 1500 for a tundra due to transmission problems, and my mom sold her jeep for a RAV4, I was the odd one out that just won't give up the horsepower lol.

And as far as Subaru goes, I live here right next to an Air Force base and everyone there seems to have one, so I see them all the time and know someone that has an older STI and loves it :D
For some reason if I was ever gonna get one I would want the Legacy, dunno why but they look cool.
Small and efficient car, I would go with the corolla, they seem to know what they're doing since they've been around forever :)

Toyota's definitely reliable. I just don't like the current look and offerings. Really liked the larger vehicles. A friend's FJ was fun, and the Tacoma was a favorite of mine. FJ is gone, 4runner is crazy expensive, Landcruiser still is, and new Rav4 looks strange. In my opinion, the new Chevy (Isuzu) Colorado knocks all the other small trucks out of the water. Small car offerrings don't really appeal to me as much.

I'm a Legacy fan too! Really like that car since my family bought one a few years back. I've averaged 38mpg in it during my commute which is unbelievable for AWD. Very comfortable ride and good handling for the price. Ours is the regular 2.5 though, and it's pretty slow. If you want something reasonably quick, the turbocharged or 3.6 version is a better choice. WRX and STI are cool, but they aren't my style.

As for the Corolla, it's definitely a reasonable choice, but there are so many other reasonable choices in the category.

Yeah I honestly think the Rav does look funny, and I think it was a mistake on Toyota to discontinue the FJ because I would take that over the Wrangler any day.
I'm not a fan of the STI either, I didn't even know they had a Turbo 3.6 Legacy, very nice :D definitely a good looking car for sure.
Ugh jeez that gas mileage, my car can't seem to get better than 17mpg and I have to put 91 in it :(
I think it's because when I put my exhaust on I never tuned it which I should have done.

A similar thread started on PL just last week I think! :p

I'm driving an 07 Dodge Dakota - 4.7L V8 model.

It's terrible on gas, but has been fairly reliable otherwise. No major engine work over the 4 years I've had it (touch wood), just oil changes, spark plugs and the water pump ate itself a few weeks back. Manifold bolts snapped too, but not too bad to repair. Transfer case ate itself too, but that was my fault...

Hey, here is my Hyundai Elantra. It has been a very nice car, very comfortable and great pickup for a 4 door sedan.
