Hello, just thought I'd share this video called 고진감래, about the bitter and sweet aspects of the city I happen to live in which is Seoul Republic of Korea.
This video is a crowd sourced video (taking over 11,000 individual video clips from the web and stitching them together).

I'd like to hear your opinions about this video. I'm completely confused watching this from a advertising point of view. :thinking::thinking::thinking:

What is the video's purpose or message????

:thinking::thinking::thinking:

the logic escapes me.

Comments are needed! Thanks. I will be using the comments to help produce feedback for a magazine article for STO (Seoul tourism organization) shortly.

Well, I'd agree with you if that was how it was marketed, however that's not who it was intended for. This video is intended as an overseas promotional video for Seoul Metropolitan Government not for Korea as a whole.
While I understand some of the artistic concepts behind the movie, I think a film like this needs more organization and needs to be used as a human documentary. One thing for sure is that it's definitely random.
It's getting some colourful reviews and not in a good way.

I just showed this movie today to a bunch of Engineers at LG display... They were "Puritty Shock-kED" ... Lots of explanations about feeling of alone and depression.
NOT how you market a city that has so much more to offer than depressing lonely
sights.

:cryyy: :cryyy: :cryyy:
