Scariest game

if the first scary game you guys play was Elders III that means you are pretty young and you havent played the real scary games like Resident evil 1 and 2 and the most scarry of all the original Silent Hill for the PSOne but of course the scariest game ever has to be ET for the Atary2600 LOL!!

For anyone that wants to play a scary game try Penumbra: Black Plague and Penumbra: Overture.

Nothing else I've played compares to playing this with the lights off. It's probably the lack of enemies that gets to you, because you know that when one does show up its going to scare the bejesus out of you!

lol elder scrolls III is one of the games i played and stuck with that i can remember had some scary parts. im trying to think of some games before that... but i cant think of any... doom and wolfenstein didn't scare me, well, except for (and even now when i play them on my phone!) when you turn a corner and a guy is right there and yells at you. It's mainly when your in a calm mood just kinda exploring the map and you dont expect the guy to be there. But that doesn't really count as being scary.
I know that Alien Vs Preditor (the one that is older than doom i believe) would have been pretty scary, cuz it's that same concept, an alien will just appear behind you and you wont even expect it. Also there is no radar so there is no way of knowing until you hear the noise and your screen flashes red.
