To anyone who missed it, he was talking about the laser engraver hack where he engraved a robot and stuff on his hand.

This was the post that was linked here, I hadn't seen it yet and I'm glad it was posted.

Guy uses epilog laser engraver to engrave his hand...

looks bloody awesome, I just don't know how permanent it would be... I imagine this is just a very thin surface burn and would heal away leaving no scars over the course of a month.. which is a shame really.

crazy.. that must hurt a lot, i've burned my hands (on purpose) with a few of my lasers and it stings a lot. i wouldn't want to draw anything for sure

looks just like the burns I get when I accidentally touch my Chinese cheapo soldering iron

The radio shack ones dont burn that much (to the point when your skin is white) but they hurt

When I get burned like that (white) it is a LOT less painful than getting burnt normally. after bout a week it turns dark brown (prolly clotting under the skin) and it goes away after ~ a month or two.
