Wow.

When was it that the government assumed more power than the people?
I though America was founded the idea that the people governed the country, and that they chose what path this country followed.

Who has the right to say we need to pay for water, one of the most basic resources for human survival?

All I can say is, screw that law. Nobody, not even that car wash station should obey.
That is ridiculous.
Rain water? Seriously, these people really want to control the use of rain water just to make a buck?

Edit: edited out profanities. ;D

I know in the UK the water companies own the water the moment it hits the ground, so at least we can collect from the roof.

Someone here was taken to court for using water from a well in the garden to water her plants during a hosepipe ban.

Good old market economy strikes again.....If you struck oil in your garden I bet you would find that an oil company owns it

We're lucky, in Scotland we don't often get hosepipe bans, no wonder though, all the rain we get here . ::)

the plants are STEALING water from the government, then!

luckily in argentina, COPS break even more laws than civils. law does not apply as retardedly strongly as in USA. but hey, there are lawyers EVERYWHERE, and that means they can use stupid laws to file stupid complaints and create stupid trials.

BUT

if you want to file a comlaint, you will get your trial around eight years after you filed it

(e.g. there was a paedophile priest called "Padre Grassi" which was busted in fraganti with a kid from his church. that was like 9 years ago and his trial occurred last week :))

Yeah in Utah we have all kinds of ridiculous laws and crap going on. Aside from the idiocy(Mormons) it's actually not a bad place to live though.
