Questions about United Nuclear Neodymium magnets

I just purchased the 1-1/2" Sphere and 2 of the 1" Dia x 1" Long NdFeB Rod Magnets.
Anyone here know of some cool things to do with these? I'm thinking of using the two rod magnets for a levitation experiment.
Btw I know about safety: Never let the magnets fly into each other/don't get your hand caught between them. I already have 2 of the 30lb pull cubes and I wanted something with a bit more power.

i'd really like one of those ring magnets.....but i dont know my "international" shoe size (not even my ring size here lol)...i'm a 43 here in argentina :/

should be about a 10
edit I just found a table to convert it seems like 43 is 9 strange I wear a 43 and always got size 10 or 10 & 1/2 shoes

Shoe size is bull. I wear shoes between 39 and 42.They're all the same size.Depends on the shoe. :p

Lol, anyway, it should really depend on how fat or skinny you are. ::) And too bad the magnets are so expensive, the ring ones.It would be cool if the tiny spheres were as cheap as the tiny cubes, so we could make cheap neocubes ;D

actually, b1tchez-switchguy, there are cheaper magnets, for 8 dollars or so on some other website that only sells magnets (i got it from youtube, sorry i dont remember it)


but they're not the "hyper-mega nuclear magnet stuff!"

Well one thing I noticed a while ago is if you fire a laser beam accross the top of a magnet there won't be any dust in the section of the beam directly above the magnet !

dust isnt ferromagnetic :/

I just tried that with one of those powerful magnets and it didn't make any dust difference...

Still, I'd love one of those rings... but only ships to America... bastards :(

I used some mega strong earth magnets and ball bearings to make one of those Gauss rifle things. It was cool. I bruised my finger.

I just ordered an N52 1" x 1/2" disc from these guys. It should be pretty cool...
