I'd try powering it with one LiIon, then if that doesn't work two LiIons...
Once you get it running you can still up the voltage.
I'm guessing that motor wants something between 3V and 12V DC.

Sounds good! 9v batteries work?

If it were rated for 3V, 9V might be a bit much for it....
I'd try lower voltage first. Have you no LiIons?
Try some AA, first one then two in series then three....

Or do you have a wall-wart with selectable voltage?

these motors are usually around 12V... go ahead and try it with a 9V battery. if you find another one, you can build a spirograph ;)

it has a threshold of 3v. So I went from 3v-9v and the results are promising! :) I'm gonna go digging and see what I can find. Maybe I have another.

Shouldn't this question be in "other"? I thought this forum was more for site related administrative questions and complaints.

Oh wow. I didn't even realise I posted in this section. I have NO idea how that happens? I thought it was posted in the other section. I don't know how it happened.

Anyhow this thread can be deleted. I got help with it.

Thanks,
Jeff
