This is a picture of me with some new friends I met on my Honeymoon in the Philippines. These guys are members of the regular army guarding an island there after some American tourists and some Filipinos were kidnapped by Abu Sayef separatist, an American and two Filipinos were killed before the rest were rescued. Great Place for a Honeymoon if any one is interested!

Well, it you want to consider a place where tourists got killed a great place, then I guess it would be a good place for a honeymoon.

No they were only kidnapped there. The island though is truly a beautiful place and generally the tourist that travel there are Honeymooners. Only the staff that cater for about 40 couples live there. Oh and of course a handful of Army personnel!

I can see where that would be romantic. If you survive you can cherish that memory the rest of your life. If not then it just wasn't meant to be.
