POLL: What's the general consensus regarding swearing?

So what's your opinion regarding the use of swearing/profanity on LPF?

  • Who the F**K cares? It's the internet, and those easily offended shouldn't be surfing it anyways!

  • Words can't hurt anyone, so as long as swearing isn't used offensively, it's not a big deal.

  • Swearing should be kept to an absolute minimum and always properly censored. There are kids here.

  • I refuse to tolerate any vulgarity or anything remotely suggestive. Censorship doesn't cut it.

I really don't care if people swear here. I don't, but that doesn't stop anybody else from expressing their feelings after seeing a high power laser. :D When I joined this forum 3 years ago, swearing was actually pretty heavily moderated, and posts with heavy swearing were edited. Now there are too many members and threads to keep up with so moderation got lax.
