No food or water for 70 years

I've read about this guy in a book more than 2 years ago. It said doctors have examined him, but they couldn't find anything that would prove what he claims wrong.

The part what they left out is that they could not prove him right, either, I presume?

C'mon folks, load of bull.
I was reading about the same article in local newspaper.
They say that it's possible, to, how'd they say it...
"Recycle the bodily fluids that usually are [pissed and crapped in polite therms] so that no energy get's wasted, making it possible to survive extreme periods without energy input"

Even if above statement is true (but it's not), that would mean that out body simply wastes around 95% of all energy we feed it. Which we all know it's not the case.
And even if it is, you ain't surviving 70 years without food and water.
And sure not without lasers

On the other hand, if that dude is so firmly strong willed and has been convinced in that "blessing of God" of his...
Human mind has great and uncomprehendable abilities after all, much of what we have no idea about.

But I still think it's a load of bull.

well i read about this recently on my msn home page and a full article. and up to the point when the article was finished the scientists did observe him for about 3 weeks, and that was 3 weeks with out food or water or going to the toilette.
