Do you want the new "Like" system.

Do you think the new system will be useful, or not?

This is what its intended to do.

The "Likes Tree" REDUX - vBulletin SEO Forums

My opinion...

I see in a perfect world that these could be useful for information. But you know how this forum acts. They will tag anything they like, so it doesnt really do what its intended to do. Jokes, agreed opinions, and many other non info things will be tagged. So I dont think this feature will be useful here.

No, I don't like it. It adds more clutter and members will be less likely to read the whole thread. At least set up a user-option to disable it.

No, Scrap the thing.

I suppose we have the rep system for that, but the constant like thing is pretty childish

Having "like" by anyone under your posts is gonna get annoying fast.

Good point.

I really dont see why its needed. We are not Facebook. We are laser hobbyists trying to educate new members, and further the hobby. I dont think "Likes" are furthering the hobby much. It will just make it more confusing, and cluttered.

I think its a little bit better than someone making an entire post that says,

"^^I agree"

or

"You're right"

"Good Idea"

"Hahahahaha"

Ima say they will continue to make posts like that regardless of weather this system is in effect or not.
