Need help with a photoshop project

Hi all experts in Photoshop. Would you know how to get rid of a nasty edge around the picture that have a transparent background? My squirell picture have a terrible edge if I use a transparent background.

I am not too sure what you mean, I have attached the best way to view a squirell....not that it helps you at all

Here you go mega, done it for you It now has a transparent background and a gradient.

btw, I used Adobe Fireworks, not Adobe Photoshop to create that pic I prefer Fireworks to Photoshop.
