Welcome Isaac Clarke. So does a name change make you a newbie? Took me a while to find your old name but once I did, I see what you mean.

I always thought you picked your original name intentionally, but stranger things have happened, there's a race car driver named d1ck trickle.

Was what the non-offensive meaning of your original name?

Hello Isaac Clarke, yes congratulations on the one year, now you just need another 620 posts before you can request membership in our secret society where we experiment with advanced technology and plot global domination.

Nothing wrong with a name change, Alex holds the LPF record for name changes, I wish I had kept a count of them.

So what does the U stand for?

I am guessing it's his middle initial, but we will have to wait for him to tell us. The question I have is: Who is Isaac Clarke? Or did he just make that name up?

OBTW, this link gets you right to post #10. You can get the link by clicking on the #10 in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks for that tip, I didn't know about that.

Found this. Character in the game Dead Space I think. I've been surfing picture posting websites lately and there are tons of references to games. Not being a gamer I don't get any of the jokes.

Thanks for that tip, I didn't know about that.

You're quite welcome. I remember a colleague once said schools should teach classes devoted to "(pick your subject) tricks". We were in engineering and both of us remember lots of test problems were solved by knowing some clever 'math trick' or identity or formula or whatever. And we, of course, learned the trick by failing the test question trying to solve it some other 'hard way'.
