i ordered this *ages* ago and it finally arrived today, after i'd forgotten about it even - pocket illuminated microscope!!! it does 100x magnification, and lights things with a white LED, seeing stuff this close up is fun. hair looks like spaghetti! colour printing looks like psychedelic random blobs of colour everywhere! previously smooth looking surfaces have loads of imperfections and weird textures! and i'd burnt a line of paint/ink off some packaging with a laser, looked amazing under the microscope, this big giant gash of devastation with melted edges, the melted edges even caused a big shadow to be cast! it's a fun little (geeky) toy, definitely worth the £10 ($20) i paid for it

i'm not sure why, but the US site sells it for twice the price ($23 without shipping instead of $10 without shipping). they're both based in china (same company), and ship (slooooowly) from there, so if you're interested in one... it may be cheaper to buy it on the UK site even if you're in the US - provided they allow that.
