I figured I will make a music thread where we can post music that we enjoy. I think many of us can benefit from what others may post. Maybe some of us can find new songs/artists we like.

I am very dynamic so I like a lot of different genres of music. I will post a few samples of each genres below.

Recently I've been playing the 4x4=12 full album video on youtube in the background while I work, and save for a few songs, it's decent background music. Don't know why sophi needs a ladder is so popular, I hate that song, it hurts my ears.
< I do like this one, though, and the video is funny to boot!

I smiled when I saw the Jonny Paycheck vid in there.

A few of the things I like:


Gruppa Krovi by an old Russian band called Kino. They were of a genre (post punk rock I think) that Russia didn't like so they received no government funding, and most of their music was passed around for free on tapes.


Pale Shelter by Tears for Fears


Fortunate Son by CCR


Mezzanine by Massive Attack (the whole album is good)


I also like music like this... from my favourite video game


And some instrumentals - clubbed to death (the entire Matrix soundtrack CD is great)


House is also good. Found this (and a few other good songs) thanks to GTA IV.

My iTunes playlist view is massive... .there isn't much I don't like, much like the OP.

Not bad at all, just not sure I can get down with the whole "hail satan" thing. Kind of weird in my opinion, also the way they say "satan" I have never heard it pronounced like that before.
