I dont want to sound like the bad guy here, not that bullying isn't present in schools everywhere, but that this kid is trying to get his name out there with this video. He has multiple channels with multiple videos. however, I agree this would make a good campaign, if only he legally use the music in that video.

(HAI DAIR) Jonah Mowry lied? You decide. - YouTube

Sorry to sound like an ass.
I know bad things are happening these days, but I have faced this for most of my life, I really dont understand why people cant learn to control it.

Yes I have been "bullied" but i have taken care of it and kept carrying myself just fine.

As much as I wanted to like that video, it just strikes me as too erm... staged?

The sad music, and no talking, only note cards, and the "I have a million reasons to be here," just seem to fake. That being said, I think it sends quite a powerful anti-bullying message.

I was bullied, I know what it feels like. I am not trying to be insensitive. I am not anti-gay. I don't have a problem with that kid. I feed quite bad for him. That being said, there are a lot of kids in the internet that are in a similar (if not worse) situations, and they just don't produce great videos, and don't get the same response.

From a film perspective, it is quite a powerful video, it just seems erm... fake?

I am not sure if I got my point across here, if you think I am hating on him, please reread my post.

My daughter saw a friend being bullied in school. She went up to the bully, who was probably twice her size, and told her that if she kept bullying people, she would end up with no friends. The girl has stopped being a bully and actually invited my daughter to her birthday party later in the year. They were in kindergarten.

The only way to stop bullying is to make it socially unacceptable. Tell your kids not to bully anyone and to do their best to stop it when they see others being bullied.

Bullies Huh, I know of a couple of them that grew up, never got over being one, and are now living right here on LPF, They pass out negative repps like it was candy :tsk:

I only had one bullie in school (5th grade) who ever bothered me, he would trip me and call me names and one time he even gave me a black eye, well
this went on for several months and then one day I couldn't take it any longer and when he approached me I let him have it right in the kisser, he wasn't
expecting to get his lip busted and he never bothered me again !
True story !

Take from that what you want but I think it's like if you let people pick on you and beat you down then others
see this and more will do the same and you will never be rid of the scum that lives on fright and stealing lunch money.
Where as if you stand up and show you will not be beaten down, then the baddies will go some where else

Good post Bob  +2

Bingo , sometimes to people who do not know the rules or are new, hellova welcome, didnt work out so well for them in my case, i came back swinging and was banned rotf.
I agree with the rest as well, thanks for standing up with me.
Personally i think if a neg rep is passed out for no good reason the community should neg rep the one who is wrong and bury them in their own rep, since beatings are impractical :thanks:

For some reason I was one of lucky ones. I came into a tough high school not knowing anyone and still manged to avoid ever being bullied. I'm hardly large or intimidating either (only 5'3" 140lbs).
