Guys, the origin link clearly says "Animated photographs, using sound-controlled CGI and 3D compositing" under "Technical information".
These folks are merely illustrating the actively changing geometries of magnetic fields with CGI to help people visualize them as constantly changing and not static as is commonly believed. This does not make this "fake". Visualization is a valuable tool to help us understand phenomena that we cannot see directly with our eyes. These field effects can be "seen" on a massive scale in the plasma of the sun's corona, where huge arcs loop and twirl with incredible energies. This video is merely a way of illustrating that common magnetic fields here on earth are also vibrantly active when interacting.
I posted this video not as some scientific proof of concept, but because it's beautiful. A sinusoidal dance of electrons and fields. It's not meant to be "real". It's meant to be appreciated as art. Geeky art... but art nonetheless.
