Arrgh! I went up to New York City for Thanksgiving for the family, but didn't go to the parade this year. My family didn't really consider it anyways, Thanksgiving is more about family than a silly parade ;).

Nice, but it just doesn't seem the same as when main stream media gets in on it.

What would truly be epic, is if the internet (You know who I'm talking about) banded together and donated enough money to buy a 60 Super Bowl commercial, and Rick Rolled all the millions of viewers.

How much money do you think that would cost? (Guessing 1K-3K, but it's probably more)

more like 500k for 30 seconds. I think Budweiser spend several million just for the air time during the superbowl not to mention the production costs of their commercial (which I found were some the funniest)

I think it was even more than 500k...

For superbowl XLI, advertising was $2.6 million for 30 seconds.

(they are about 3mil for 30 seconds this year. well, 2009)
