Hey LPF, I'm wondering what your favorite Christmas songs are.

A few of my favorites are:

All I want for Christmas is you- Mariah Carey
Same Auld Lang Syne- Dan Fogelberg
It's the most wonderful time of the year-Andy Williams

Merry Christmas Everyone

I keep turning off the radio when Christmas songs come on... This year I'm feeling a bit like Scrooge.

I always love listening to fairytale of new york, but I can't understand much of what he says. :D
I like other songs. But at uni we have a computer hooked up to speakers, that is basically behaving as a Christmas jukebox at the moment. :san:

I guess all the classic's that came out in the 50's to 60's.
Just remember as a child hovering over are Zenit* stereo console with the snake eye arm:)
I know it's about song's but our Bing Crosby and the Chimpmunks albums were the best.
Chrisee Hynes's " It's Christmas time" is pretty sweet.

I prettymuch hate all of them equally. Christmas music shouldn't be played until the 20th, maybe.

If anyone has any leads on where to enlist in the War on Christmas, I'd love to. Need to try to take back the last week of November. It used to be a few glorious days of early Winter... crisp and cold yet not annoyingly so, but most importantly not holiday-themed. Then Christmas attacked. :san:

My top 3:

Carol of the Bells - Trans Siberian Orchestra

Thank you very much - from Scrooge

Hallelujah chorus - From Handel's messiah

Then I like all the rest too :san:

Jonah Lewie Stop the Cavalry. It's about the only one I have time for and it's in a playlist I play often all year round. Most of the others I can think of just sound materialistic and I'm a Scrooge anyway.

"Joy to the World"

Sang it back when I was 10 y.o as part of the regional school choir.
We even got to make a record (LP, for those that can remember).
Life changing lyrics.
