Calling all Jap whip owners!! Please post a pic of your ride :D before there's any hate... classics and muscle cars are awesome, I'll never dis them and I appreciate them, but I'm a high revving Jap engine tuner fan. No idea if we have a thread for our rides already but hey? Feel free to post pics and constructive comments :D Mitsubishi, Mazda, Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu etc. :D

Just to get things rolling here's my CTR EP3

I own an R/C car of which probably at least a single part is made in Japan. Does that count?

Aradvark777 you do know your Jap cars! for a while if you wanted any type of fuel mileage in the US that Datsun was it. Im old 53 so yeah im a muscle car guy but I do understand the Japanese car thing. They respond well to turbos and nitrious and make little good handlers. England makes some classic cars why the Japanese way?:)

Haaa yes. Sadly English classic cars are all fairly slow, and are usually prone to mechanical failures or rusting out. My CTR EP3 does 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds, revs to 8K RPM, and sounds like it will take off. Yet is fairly cheap compared to a large muscle car to run, plus it's got air con and a decent sized boot, it's small too, so it can park in regular places, without the width issues of larger cars. I had a tiny 998cc Toyota which used to do 75 MPG on long journeys so I know what you mean. Whilst I love the high revving noise, and the naturally aspirated roaring, the noise of a Pontiac Parisienne, or a Mustang is something I'd like to enjoy one day, fuel prices permitting. Haha Laser Chick that's awesome, not seen that video before

Funny thing is our Japanese cars are built in America while a lot of our American cars are built in Mexico and Turkey, with parts from all over.
Even our Korean cars are built in America, look like we are becoming the cheap labor.

I think so.
Ford is really the global company of the big 3.
The only reason we are not flooded with cheap Chinese cars are because of emission control standards and crash safety standards.
Those could easily be fixed but the truth is the big 3 with lobbyist and suitcases full of money have had Chinese cars blocked from import, otherwise they would all go out of business except for building a few specialty vehicles.
