Heard that he got banned... does anyone know why?

Seems like he was pretty shady to begin with, but I never saw any drama going on with him that would give him a ban. I haven't talked to him or ever really had any interaction with him.

Am I missing something? :thinking:

The drama related to this is all in the vets forum. People wanted to see proof of his builds and services. He was unable to deliver in a timely manner and everyone got all pissed about it. Ultimately he was banned by Ped. Then he made the account dead pool and posted a comprehensive build in the green lasers section before getting banned again for multi-accounts.

Personally, Idk if he should be banned as he did provide proof of his build and never actually scammed anybody. He also provided me with some good info about Eforce when I was looking for a 561nm module. I kinda think the whole thing was somewhat of a witch hunt caused by lingering paranoia after sci-fi mess.

He always seemed a little shifty to me. The fact that he was always eager to build things for people, but never gave results, seemed a little off. I suppose the good news is that the position of "forum's custom host maker" is now vacant. :)

I did get a PM from him as dead pool but he was already banned by that name when I read it. I kinda felt sorry for the guy as nothing bad was said in his PM as he seemed to only want to prove himself.
Edit; Also curious to see his work review if its still able?

He was an odd guy at best, not sure what his intentions were but seems as tho he put alot of effort and time into his deceit

Seemed like a decent guy, but the lack of any substance to his claims was definitely fishy.

Maybe some of the Aussie LPF members can chime in since they're most likely to have actually dealt with him.

Thanks for the cached version, I remember reading this thread but I didn't know Dead Pool was Isaac Clarke. Link works great BTW

Thanks for the info everyone, things are starting to make sense. But, a bit surprising to me that Isaac would get banned for potentially scamming but thejoker301 has scammed thousands of dollars and is still not banned. Logic? :crackup:

Looks like I was the only one to comment on the build unless there were missing posts. That's a serious host. Guess the actual all copper module had gotten ruined and he had to make his own module. As far as I know that host hasn't been made by Sinner in over a year. I actually bought an extra module for mine so I could interchange a different diode/driver easily to the host body if I wanted too.

Maybe this post by him w/a new username was a last ditch effort to prove himself. Hope he was banned for good reason, seemed to be a real enthusiast
