I've been reading a lot of comics recently and they're pretty darn addictive! This gives me an idea for a thread: if you could have any superhuman ability, what would it be?
For me, I'd have super speed, telekinesis, and accelerated healing. However, if I could only have one ability, then it would have to be super speed (a la Wally West a.k.a. The Flash). Accelerated healing seems like something that would become reality in a few decades (due to nanotechnology), so it would be redundant. While telekinesis would be pretty cool, it won't be quite as useful as super speed.
Just think of the things you could do with superhuman speed:
1. You can go anywhere you want.
2. No more transportation costs!
3. No more dorm costs, either - just run to school and back!
4. Nobody would ever call you a slow-poke again. Ever.
5. Impress ladies by helping them tidy up their laundry in seconds.
6. It helps with school, too - e.g., take down teachers' notes on exams that you aren't allowed to keep.
7. You'll never be late for classes, either!
8. You can always win at speed-oriented games.
9. Running happens to be my favorite sport.
10. Save people, of course!

And would probably get really bored fast , people being slow all around him ;D Super-healing would mean a really fast metabolism which means that you would have to eat very frequently, and would probably cause a lot of dandruff and skin exfoliating. :-/ I think I would have to go with super-strength.Being stronger but at the same time keeping my current mass I should be faster too, being able to jump higher, and having a less fragile body.So if I was to jump off a building I would have less chance of breaking my legs.Not to mention I would provoke random people on the street and kick their ass if they were cocky enough to "come and teach me a lesson", that'd be sweet.
