hah... hell yea... thats A LOT of pennies... so... $1,500,000 - 2,065,000... in pennies..  :-? 150,000,000 - 206,500,000... might take me a while

BUT its worth goin from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds.. n 0-100mph in 5.5 seconds... and goin 253mph   [smiley=evil.gif]

And in the 1/4 mile, I think my (future) electric car would still win.

100% torque at 0 rpm and a nearly-flat torque curve ftw.

nice.. thats a SSC Ultimate Aero... still takes gas... think that beat the bugattis land speed record for the fastest production car... pretty sure it went 256mph

n the only reason a electric car would beat some gas cars in a 1/4 mile is because they dont have to shift gears.. fastest electric vehicle that i know of went 222mph

I guess that is the gas version, but they're building an electric version, and that's what I'm interested in. Thought I was posting the electric version, my bad.

Yeah, very flat powerband, the Aero EV will still need 3 gears though. But, it'll take only .24 seconds to shift between them, and there are only 3 instead many more. So 0-60, with that flat powerband and full torque at all RPMs, it'll throw you back in your seat very nicely. Of course, they'll all through you back in the seat, but I'm very excited about future electric sports cars.

that version look a lot better the the gas... 0-60mph in 2.5... wonder what the top speed is... ill check later to edit... n the battery much not last long
