Let's just say that I took a ride on the oxidizer truck, so to speak.

Now, Niko, about those matches...

It seems to be legal to ship them as long as they are strike-on-box matches. I have no problem with strike-on-box matches.

Ok, I've got a problem with my leg & back (rotated vertebrae is pressing on the ciatic nerve and I can't walk, hurts like hell), I'll ask somebody to check the price on some boxes and will let you know :)

PS: So that you know, you should let me know if you're in a hurry because my problem won't go away in two days and I won't be able to ship them quickly.

Rocketparrotlet - Have you ever considered the cost of shipping + hazmat fees? You might be better off getting someone local to do a "straw purchase" for you.

Also, have you ever tried purchasing matches yourself? The worst that could happen is they say no... Grocery stores in particular don't seem to care, I'd be surprised if they card you.

Just search E Bay. I found many listings for matches such as:

3840 Ct Diamond Strike Anywhere Penny Matches 120 boxes: buy it now for $23 + $8.50 s&h

That works out to something like 0.008 cents per match.

I know is been said 1000 times, but be careful. My nephew burned 3 of his fingers to the bone playing with pyros, and he knew what he was doing like you. Accidents happen no matter how careful you are, and loosing body parts is not worth the bang.

Anyway, have fun and be careful.

Yes, but its purity is not very good.

EDIT: working with impure chemicals can be very dangerous.
