So, for those of you who don't know, I'm running this deal:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/1-1w-445nm-custom-build-ehgemus-host-5-00-a-54761.html

As you may notice from this run (my first time with a deal like this--mostly a trial run [still legit of course]) it'll be around 1-2 weeks before I end each "steal". Therefore, I have a question:

How often should I do this?

PLEASE only vote if you have PM'd me and know the details of the deal

Thanks guys :)

While I'm pretty sure that the general consensus will be as fast as humanly possible, I think that you should only do them when you and your builder have time.

Hope you got a good response to this.
Once members start receiving <and reviewing> $5 lasers every couple months, you'll see an even greater influx. Glad your doing it ,)

He isn't losing any money on this "awesome, kickass" deal. In fact I believe he is coming out ahead. He sells 80 "diode units" for $5 = $400. Cost of the laser = ~$225 so $400-$225= $175 subtract a little for shipping fees and however much he decides to donate to LPF. So it should read "a very very small chance at....an awesome kickass deal"

thats true but didnt he say some of the proceeds go to lpf

I did in fact say that. Yobr is right the cost of a fully assembled laser (for this build) is actually closer to around $250 with shipping costs and paypal fees. I was planning if all the 'diodes' sell that I'd donate around $100 to the forum.
